Reboot GRUB.

The fundamental component in Linux environments for us to have the correct access is the GRUB boot loader. GRUB or GNU GRUB is in charge of loading the system kernel allowing us to choose which operating system to use, in case we have more than one, or to access more administrative functions about the boot.

GRUB supports ext4, ReiserFS, XFS, HPS, FAT, NTFS and other file systems, which makes it a dynamic, versatile and powerful manager. Sometimes we can encounter problems when booting our systems throwing in some cases different failures and causing Ubuntu does not boot.

 What is GRUB.

The GRUB is known as the boot loader that we can find in Linux and is vital for the proper functioning of the system. This manager performs the necessary operations for our Operating System to boot effectively and we have no problems in this process. When the Kernel has loaded correctly, the GRUB will give it the power to complete the boot. Occasionally we may find that Ubuntu does not boot and we need to repair Ubuntu boot to load the system.

  1. By the time you look at Zorin OS 15, you might wonder if it is a Linux distro because it looks more like a Windows operating system. According to Zorin, he wanted Windows users to be ported to Linux in a more user-friendly way. And it features a Windows-like Start menu, quick app launchers, a traditional taskbar section, system tray, etc.

    1. There are many reasons to change operating systems or to stick with the one you have. The way it looks, the way it works, the applications and games it supports, its possibilities to be customised by the user... Or simply because we are familiar with it and we don't feel like changing our routines.

In fact, many people are reluctant to leave Windows for Linux, despite the fact that Linux is free, has the support of large companies and millions of enthusiastic users, and you can customise it to your liking. And one of the reasons is the way it looks. The solution? Try your luck with Linux distributions that look like Windows on the outside.
