Doomi is a TO-DO list application built using Adobe AIR.

doomi scrnDoomi was designed from the ground up to stay out of your way and out of your browser. It has all the features you use, and none of the ones you don't. Create, edit, set reminders, and keep archives of your old tasks.
The Internet has countless web apps available if you are looking for an app to manage your to-do list.
But if you are looking for a simple and user friendly desktop app that can manage your task lists, then Doomi is the perfect choice.

Doomi is a free desktop application based on Adobe AIR. Its download size is nearly 430KB and since it is based on AIR, the app is cross-platform. 

Running the app for the first time, you will see a small floating window like in the image below. All you do is keep entering your tasks and drag them to rearrange.

About Adobe AIR:
Adobe AIR runtime allows Adobe AIR applications to be deployed on computers and devices running the Linux operating system. In addition, Adobe Flex Builder for Linux can be used to build rich internet applications that deploy to the desktop and run across operating systems using proven web technologies.

Guide on Making a To-do List with Doomi
  1. Download and install Doomi. Click download button to download Doomi on your Linux, and then you should install it based on installation instruction. Please note that Doomi runs with Adobe Air will install the application and Air together.
  2. Create your tasks. Then you can click to boot your Doomi.  Simply type in what you have to do for the day and a list is generated.

    After typing in the task click the clock icon to select the hours in the future it is due or you can even create a custom time to be more precise.

  3. Finish the task list. When it is time to be reminded about a task a friendly message box pops up.
    When you have completed the task just click the box next to it on the left side and it will be moved to the old tasks list.
